History

The future is determined by those who have the courage to shape it and are committed to working together.

In 1988, Kwame Manteaw, then a Civil Engineering student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, was struck by the need to provide integrated engineering solutions to divergent problems in Ghana and beyond. So he founded and registered a company under the name, Transtech (Transportation technology) Consult Limited in 1998. This enabled him to take up private jobs on a part time basis until in 2005 when he began fulltime operation of the company.

Since our company’s founding by Kwame Manteaw, we have gradually evolved from a one-man engineering consultant to a staff of 40 highly qualified and experienced professionals in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Urban Planning, Sociology and environment studies today. Our close links with other consulting firms enable us to put together tailor-made teams even when the request from our Clients demands expertise that is not available in-house.

About two-thirds of our consistent growth comes from organic expansion as we serve the changing and growing needs of our customers. Because we partner with our clients and truly understand their business objectives, we work in the industries where they need us to be; and we position ourselves to serve their needs effectively.

Together, as Transtech, we provide integrated solutions to divergent problems for the benefit of our Clients.
